Condolences to all the Ottos, especially Tom, Barbara, and McBeth. I will always remember John as an incredible roommate both at the dam and on Central Ave and a loyal friend with extraordinary knowledge of the natural world. Best of all was our cross country road trip. Go with peace friend. Roger

To the Otto Family,
I worked with John at Eagle Creek Dam. He was always very funny, kind and had many interests. Just the other day he crossed my mind when I was looking for morels. He gave all of us a “book” he wrote about mushrooms when he worked at the dam. I’m sorry I was unable to attend John’s service. My deepest sympathy to his family and friends.
